20:30 Reginald D Hunter (USA)
D HunterAmerican comedian Reginald D Hunter is one of the UK Comedy industry's most distinctive performers. His work is often brutally honest, frequently controversial but always meticulously measured and thought out. His popularity has led to him being invited to perform in venues around the world. Having initially traveled to Britain at the age of 27 as a classic theater student training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Hunter became a comedian after performing his first comedy set as a dare. For this set, he received £10. Realizing he enjoyed it, and there was money in it, Hunter diverted his attention from his acting ambitions and re-focused on stand-up. Rising to prominence through celebrated appearances on shows such as QI and Have I Got News For You, Reginald D Hunter has fast become one of the most sought after tickets in comedy. His trademark laid back wit and southern drawl, belie one of the smartest comic minds in the business. Following sell-out tours of the UK and Australia and critically acclaimed debut tours of New Zealand and Scandinavia Reginald will be bringing his own unique blend of humour to Europe this year. And for the first time Mr. Hunter will perform in Russian with his new stand-up show "Reginald D. Hunter in Russia. A nigga runs throught it" which was shown in UK, New Zealand, Australia with great success. Sliding effortlessly from the risque to subtly political, his jokes will leave you questioning your preconceptions after the torrents of laughter finally die down." Comedy of a rare scope," - The Times, UK. "His presence and intelligence make him one of the most brilliantly unpredictable comics in the country," - The Sunday Times, UK. The language of the concert is English. By request you can rent a device for the simultaneous translation. More info
