21:00 Chamber Orchestra Kremlin: Piazzolla for Lovers
Chamber Orchestra Kremlin's concert from "Classic for night-birds" cycle to the St. Valentine's Day was titled "Piazzolla for Lovers". As always the concert will held in cozy hall of Ostrovsky Museum - humanitarian center "Overcoming". Astor Piazzolla's oeuvre revolutionized the traditional tango into a new style termed nuevo tango, incorporating elements from jazz and classical music. The program will include the most popular compositions of the world's foremost composer of tango music. Before the concert the visitors will have an opportunity to taste a delicious "Montana" coffee. Chamber Orchestra Kremlin, founded and led by Misha Rachlevsky, has earned national and international recognition as one of Russia's leading ensembles. Founded in 1991, the orchestra, comprising some of Russia's finest young string players, has carved a niche for itself under the creative baton of its founder and music director Misha Rachlevsky. Whether it is the highly-acclaimed CDs or its mesmerizing concerts, Chamber Orchestra Kremlin's warmth and high energy create addictive performances that stay with listeners long after the last note has been played. Karmen Moxie"Soul diva Karmen Moxie - amazingly energetic dark-skinned girl with a relaxed style of singing does not leave anyone indifferent" (VKLYBE). Karmen arrived to Moscow under a contract to perform for One Year as a Residential House Diva for Club Sinatra's. She gave up her apartment and career in California. Only three months after living in Moscow, Karmen showed up to work, and Sinatra's was closed down. There was no warning. Karmen was left homeless and jobless. Being the strong women that she is, she decided to stay in Moscow. Karmen has managed to win the audience's most fashionable clubs of Moscow: Restaurants Ginza Project, SOHO Rooms, Kalina, The Bar, LaTerrasse, Black Berry, GQ Bar, Lookin Rooms and many others. Besides covers for Michael Jackson (Billie Jean), Beyonce (Single Ladies), Maroon 5 (Moves Like Jagger), Lady Marmalade (Moulin Rouge), Rihanna (We Found Love), Alicia Keys (If I got you), Gloria Gaynor (I will Survive) and others Karmen Moxie is always working on creating her own songs. In 2013 Karmen was a participant of Russian musical television project "The Voice Show".

19:00 Lukas Geniusas (piano)
Born in Moscow in 1990, Lukas Geniusas started piano studies at the age of 5 at the preparatory department of F. Chopin Music College in Moscow, going on to graduate with top honours in 2008. He was born into a family of musicians which played a major role in Lukas' swift musical development. His grandmother, Vera Gornostaeva, the prominent teacher and professor at the Moscow Conservatory, became his first mentor. This culminated in Lukas winning the Silver medal at the Chopin International Piano Competition in 2010 and, in 2012; Lukas was nominated and became the recipient of the German Piano Award in Frankfurt am Main. He has appeared with numerous orchestras including the Hamburg Symphony, Duisburg Symphony, BBC Scottish Symphony, St Petersburg Philharmonic, Kremerata Baltica, Katowice Radio and Warsaw Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with conductors such as Yuri Temirkanov, Andrey Boreyko, Saulius Sondeckis, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Antoni Wit, Roman Kofman and Dmitry Liss amongst others. His international career has already seen him perform at venues throughout the world, as well as at a number of prestigious festivals including the Rheingau, Ruhr and Lockenhaus Music Festivals. Highlights of the 2014/15 season include concerts with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt and a return to the Festival de la Roque d'Anthéron. In recital, he will appear at the Auditorium du Louvre in Paris and makes his London debut at the Wigmore Hall as well as giving recitals in Russia and South America. His musical interests are extensive and he explores a wide range of repertoire, from Baroque right up to works by contemporary composers. His repertoire spans from Beethoven Piano Concerti through to Hindemith's "Ludus Tonalis" cycle, as well as a strong interest in Russian repertoire such as Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov. Lukas is an avid chamber music performer. He is an extremely inquisitive performer and enjoys working on new works by modern composers, as well as resurrecting rarely performed repertoire. At the age of 15, he was awarded a federal grant "Young Talents" from the Russian Federation and two years later was awarded the "Gifted Youth of 21st Century" grant. He has since received many accolades and awards in recognition of his talent. This biography is updated regularly. Conducted by Charles Olivieri-Munroe (Canada), who is increasingly recognized in the international press for his innovative programming, interpretation of Slavic repertoire and his passion for purity of orchestral sound. Described by Gramophone magazine as "a colourist in love with the infinite variety a piano can produce," Sergio Tiempo has developed a reputation as one of the most individual and thought-provoking pianists of his generation. Tiempo established his international credentials at an early age, making his professional debut at the age of fourteen at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. A tour of the USA and a string of engagements across Europe quickly followed. Since then he has appeared with many of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors and is a frequent guest at major festivals worldwide. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Tiempo began his piano studies with his mother, Lyl Tiempo, at the age of two and made his concert debut when he had just turned three. Whilst at the Fondazione per il Pianoforte in Como, Italy, he worked with Dimitri Bashkirov, Fou Tsong, Murray Perahia and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. He has received frequent musical guidance and advice from Martha Argerich, Nelson Freire and Nikita Magaloff and performs regularly with fellow-countryman and friend Gustavo Dudamel including concerts with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra. Sergio Tiempo has made a number of highly distinctive and acclaimed recordings. On EMI Classics' "Martha Argerich Presents" label, he recorded Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition, Ravel Gaspard de la Nuit and three Chopin Nocturnes, and for Deutsche Gramophon he has recorded several discs with Mischa Maisky, including a disc of Rachmaninov which was awarded five stars by Classic FM and the BBC Music Magazine, which also named it their benchmark recording. In June 2010, Tiempo gave the world premiere of a new work for two pianos and orchestra Tango Rhapsody by Argentinean composer Federico Jusid with Karin Lechner and the RSI Lugano under Jacek Kaspszyk at the Martha Argerich Festival in Lugano, where he is a visitor each year. Most recently, Sergio Tiempo released a disc of French music for two pianos with Karin Lechner for Avanti Classic entitled La Belle Epoque. Recent concerto highlights for Tiempo have included return visits to the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France in Paris and on tour to his native South America, the Singapore Symphony and the Music Days in Lisbon Festival, as well as debuts with the BBC Symphony, City of Birmingham Symphony, Northern Sinfonia, Queensland Orchestra and the Auckland Philharmonia. In Moscow Sergio Tiempo will perform compositions by Brahms, Beethoven, Debussy, Prokofiev, Chopin, Piazzolla, etc.
