23:00 "Cocoon Party: Len Faki (Germany) feat.
Len Faki did the hat trick of winning “Best Track”, “Best Producer” and “Best Newcomer” in German Groove magazine’s reader poll in 2007. No small feat at all, as no one ever achieved this before or after. This brought a lot of attention to Faki, culminating in his contribution “Death By House” for the Cocoon compilation H; a track that ruled summer festivals and Ibiza’s debauchery all over. It also won Len a nomination for the DJ Awards 2008. Mark Broom has always been a name that is synonymous with the UK electronic music scene. A truly prolific artist, he has a myriad of production credits to his name having worked with world renowned labels such as Mo-Wax, Warp, R&S, Soma, Ifach (with Baby Ford ) Bpitch Control, Platzhirsch to name a few.
23:00 Leeroy Thornhill (UK)
Ex-Prodigy dancer Leeroy Thornhill had enough of staying in the background, and being prominent only on stage, so he started to work on his own and record some solo material. His first solo project was originally called "The Longman" (referring to his height of about 2 meters). He released his first solo record back in 1996, 'The Longman EP'. The single contained the following tracks: Dreamers, The Suspect, The Smoker, Rock It. He also provided a track for Kris Needs' 'Needs Must' compilation and laid down a remix for fellow Essex ravers Shades of Rhythm. In 2001 he released his first solo album called “Beyond All Reasonable Doubt”.
00:00 Love Festival: Harry "Choo Choo" Romero (USA)
Harry had the privilege of being raised in a musical family. His mother soaked the air with the Latin rhythms of merengue and cumbia, while his father, a former opera tenor, practised his scales and listened to Beethoven. These early influences drive Harry to constantly look to expand musically… and he has. He is an impressive young man with an honest and zealous dedication to improving and honing his talents. He recognizes Dave Darlington, an engineer he has worked closely with, for inspiring him to sharpen his technical skills, and he credits the many great musicians and vocalists he's worked with for reminding him that it's all about music.
