During this exciting and informative seminar a wide variety of topics dedicated to skin care will be discussed in a friendly atmosphere. Among the most important subjects will be the following: which skin care products are essential for usage; how to conduct a professional skincare procedure at home; which peelings are safe and effective; when we should use tonic for skin treatment. We shall also discuss the latest developments and innovations in the field of cosmetology and many other important and interesting subjects. The seminar will be conducted by an experienced professional cosmetologist Daria Lozovskaya. The working language is Russian, English translation will be provided. The Moscow School of Scottish Dancing received official RSCDS recognition in 2005, and is now comprised of around thirty members, a number of whom participate in a demonstration group that performs at corporate functions as well as the various annual St. Andrews Society events. The dancing group is managed by preliminarily certified teachers. In order to attend the classes it’s necessary to email in advance to rscds_russia@yahoo.com. All are welcome, you do not need to come with a partner. Entrance fee is 200 rubles.

BWC monthly coffee mornings are informal meetings offering plenty of time to chat and even to shop, as different artisans are invited each month to sell their wares during the meeting. We also host a book exchange table (with proceeds going to a BWC- supported charity), and we will have some of the new "Living in Moscow" books for sale. This is also an opportunity to find out what activities and events are on offer for the month, sign-up sheets will be available at these meetings. Please note that we have limited space and no childcare facilities at the Embassy meetings but, if you are new to Moscow without any childcare arrangements, we will be happy to welcome you and your children to the meeting. If you would like to attend and you are not yet a BWC member, please contact us in advance (by the previous Thursday) at members@bwcmoscow.co.uk as the security guards on the gate will only admit people on our current membership list. The Membership Secretary will send you a reply email to confirm you are on the security list. A great opportunity to visit an Embassy, watch guest entertainers, find out more about a range of different cultures as well as have some refreshments, chat to friends and meet new people. Newcomers are especially invited to join us, as this will be this year's second chance to sign up for our Interest Groups. Members can attend any and all General Meetings but must remember to bring their membership badge, otherwise a guest fee of 250 rubles will be charged. Some meetings may require sign-up in advance, and if visiting an Embassy members should remember to bring their passports.

All the guests will first enjoy small group socializing over cocktails and dinner, hosted by one of several embassies that graciously volunteer their support for the event. Later in the evening, the Ritz Carlton Hotel will come alive with our unforgettable Venetian Carnival Ball. There will be a festive atmosphere of live music, dancing, various entertainments, silent auction, raffle, and more for all to enjoy. While the guests are sure to relish the magical evening, the event also serves a higher purpose. The Embassies Dinner and Ball is one of IWC’s most significant fundraising endeavors, and all proceeds will provide support for IWC Charities in Russia. Ticket prices are as follows: Dinner and Ball - U.S. $275; Ball only - U.S. $175. Attire: for ladies - long evening gowns and Venetian masks; for gentlemen - black tie and Venetian masks. Tickets for the event are available online and at IWC Coffee Mornings and IWC General Meetings.
