Question:
What is the difference between an ovarian cyst and an ovarian complex leision?
amw
Answer:
The difference may be substantial; a 'simple' ovarian cyst is quite common and usually benign (but if symptomatic can while or large can require surgery; a complex lesion has more differential diagnoses including for example problems as a result of endometriosis, bleeding into the cyst, and so forth. We highly recommend you bring these test results and see your or our doctor as without more information we cannot comment further. An individual patient is always advised to consult their own physician.
