Question:
Does vitamin C in an ester form have any advantage over the acid form? Is it available in Moscow?
jd
Answer:
Dear jd,
Ester-C is a patented form of vitamin C that is pH balanced and Time released. It is a patented form of ascorbyl palmitate. An ester , in general, is the combination of an acid and an alcohol. With Ester-C , the acid is ascorbic acid (vitamin C ). Ester-C is the premium brand of vitamin C esters available. It differs from other vitamin C's in that it will not give you an acid stomach and it will give you the benefits of Vitamin C over a longer period of time. It is also more bio-available than other vitamin C's. In Russia this brand is not available. Regards, Doctor.
