Question:
hello! how long does it take to obtain a work permit for an expat employee by your assistance? and how much does it cost approx.? what happens if you don't apply for work permit & go on working like that? what may be the possible penalties?
Barkin
Answer:
Dear Barkin,
If you interested in cost of our assistance in obtaining work permits please contact as directly (email your request to moscow@ath.ru) Processing of work permit takes about 2,5 -3 months from beginning to end. If a foreign citizen who doesn't have a work permit but working, he/she may be fined and deported from Russia. The employer will also be fined, and might have additional administrative charges (e.g. inability to employ foreign citizens for a period of time). Different rules apply for students, teachers, diplomats and representatives of international organizations
