| I have a 12 month multi entry visa which expires in June 2004. I want to get a new passport ( so I can enter the USA on visa waiver program ). Usually, the British Embassy marks the old passport as "superceded" by the new one and writes the number of the new passport. Will Russian immigration accept visa in old passport? |

Dear Robert,
you can't leave the country with a visa in old passport. You should apply for an exit visa which is valid within 10 days. When you get a new passport you should prepare the ticket, 2 matt photos and pass all the documents to the company which issued your invitation. The processing speed is about 20 days. When you get an exit visa you must leave the country within 10 days. |
