Question:
I am searching for large non-Russian bandaids for a friend in another city who has an artificial leg. She gets sores and needs large bandages to cover the area. I have searched on Tverskaya in lots of fancy pharmacies, but so far have had no luck. Can you suggest where I might find them in the cetner of Moscow? Thanks.
MS
Answer:
Sorry, despite numerous inquiries we've come up blank on this. If the problem is friction sores, (and sorry to state the obvious if this has already been looked at) bandaids however sourced will not cure the problem; is there a chance that she can get the prosthesis sanded smooth? Otherwise however you buffer the skin, in the medium term the problem will persist. Hope this helps
