Die Zauberflöte
14:00, 19:00. Opera in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder. Director: Ilya Ilyin. Conductor-Director: Valery Kiryanov. The last opera of the great Mozart became the most famous and performed in the world. Why do we love “The Magic Flute” so much? Probably because this opera is about the most valuable thing in life – about love? A romantic fairy tale, filled with a deep philosophical sense, has an irresistible magic for the opera stage directors, because, created by Mozart without regard to age restrictions - hardly he thought, 16+ or 6+ will be put on the poster - is clear and sweet for both the child and the adult. That is why Helikon-Opera is preparing two versions of Mozart's masterpiece. From now on, the Moscow audience and guests of the capital will see the performance in full version (for adults) and in the abridged version (for children) on the stage of the "Stravinsky" hall. In the production team you will see a talented young Director Ilya Ilin, conductor of "Helikon-Opera" Valery Kiryanov, light master Denis Eniukov, experienced choreographer Edwald Smirnov. And, be sure, in "Helikon" there is a soprano, able to easily and perfectly perform the famous Aria of the Queen of the Night – so much so that the audience will run goose bumps!
