Forrest Gump
13:40. Drama, Melodrama, Comedy. USA 1994, 142 min. Directed by Robert Zemeckis. Starring: Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Sally Field, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, Michael Connor Humphreys. In English with Russian subtitles. The beloved classic and winner of six Oscars returns to the big screen. In the words of Forrest Gump, born in a tiny town in the southern United States, “Stupid is as stupid does.” In spite of his mental disabilities, he lives an incredible life. He taught Elvis to dance, became an American football star, held his own in Vietnam, and spoke with the President as an equal. Most importantly, he always stayed true to himself and helped people without expecting anything in return. That’s how a naive fool taught a lot of people that honesty, goodness and love are often more important than a high IQ.
