Blade Runner
19:25. Science fiction, thriller, detective, drama. USA 1982, 117 min. Directed by Ridley Scott. Starring: Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer, Sean Young, Daryl Hannah. In English with Russian subtitles. One of the most important films in the history of science fiction and a real masterpiece by Ridley Scott. A film based on Philip K. Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" tells the story of a futuristic Los Angeles in which the main character must find escaped androids, rebelling against their position in the new world order as slaves. They do not want to die and refuse to give up, and the hero will have to face them—to discover a great deal about himself, too.

11:45. Drama. USA, UK, Canada 2019, 116 min. Directed by Viggo Mortensen. Starring: Viggo Mortensen, Lance Henriksen, Sverrir Gudnason, Laura Linney, David Cronenberg. In English with Russian subtitles. A tough and somewhat uncompromising family drama that tells the story of a gay man living with his partner and an aging, dementia-stricken homophobic father. The relationship between father and son, already strained, is heated to the limit. This is the directorial debut of famous Danish actor Viggo Mortensen. However, in this film, Viggo also plays the main role and is the author of the script to boot, while the great David Cronenberg also appears in a small role in the film.

In French with Russian subtitles. In this new Francois Ozon film, we find ourselves in Normandy in the mid-1980s. Alexis and his parents move to a small seaside town. Here he meets David, a tall, muscular young man who comes to Alexis' aid during a storm. A new best friend, summer, the omnipresent music of The Cure... still, we know that this youthful attachment can't end well.

In English with Russian subtitles. A mysterious organization called "Tenet" recruits a special agent to participate in a mission that must save the world. Armed with only one word as a weapon and navigating the twilight world of international espionage, he must prevent Andrei Sator, a renegade Russian oligarch with the ability to foresee the future, from unleashing World War III. To counter this threat, the protagonist must master the art of "time inversion."

The great Renée Fleming stars as the beguiling femme fatale who captivates all Paris in Lehár’s enchanting operetta, seen in a new staging by Broadway virtuoso director and choreographer Susan Stroman (The Producers, Oklahoma!, Contact). Stroman and her design team of Julian Crouch (Satyagraha, The Enchanted Island) and costume designer William Ivey Long (Cinderella, Grey Gardens, Hairspray) have created an art-nouveau setting that climaxes with singing and dancing grisettes at the legendary Maxim’s.
