An Officer and a Spy (J'accuse)

He taught Elvis to dance, became an American football star, held his own in Vietnam, and spoke with the President as an equal. Most importantly, he always stayed true to himself and helped people without expecting anything in return. That’s how a naive fool taught a lot of people that honesty, goodness and love are often more important than a high IQ.

The Truth (La vérité)

In French with Russian subtitles. The legendary Catherine Deneuve plays faded film star Fabienne, who remains a strong personality in spite of her age and makes people take her seriously. When she publishes her memoirs under the title “La vérité,” her daughter Lumir comes to Paris from New York with her family to celebrate the event and remind everyone that there’s actually not a word of truth in the book. She gets into a confrontation with her mother in order to shed light on the embellished past. Fabienne has no time for family feuds: she’s getting ready for a new role. In a strange way, however, it becomes a reflection of her actual life.
