She must lie to him about trips, work, and even about a jealous ex. The more confused the situation becomes, the harder it is for Claire to stand it. She is in love with Alex, while he is in love with her fake alter ego. Claire is torn between her love and the need to admit to her lies — which means losing that love forever.
