16:10. Drama, Comedy. USA, UK 2019, 161 min. Directed by Quentin Tarantino. Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Maya Hawke, Dakota Fanning. In English with Russian subtitles. Exactly 25 years after the premiere of "Pulp Fiction," this legendary American director presents a new film with a dream team of actors, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt. The story takes place in Hollywood at the end of the 1960s, and centers around popular western actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), who's going through a crisis, and his stunt double, driver, assistant, and best friend all in one Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). Together, they must adapt to a new state of affairs at the end of Hollywood's golden era. Somewhere nearby, we begin to see familiar faces: Roman Polanski together with Sharon Tate, and the "great and terrible" cult of Charles Manson. In his ninth film, the most popular director of our time shows off his trademark sense of humor, irony towards Hollywood stars and producers, and an homage to his beloved spaghetti westerns.
