 Victor Kiswell is DJ, collector, famous record dealer based in Paris who played in France, UK, Germany, India, Sweden, Lebanon, Belgium, Hungary, Denmark, Russia, Egypt, Montenegro, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, USA. He said: "Lover of vinyls since childhood and brought up on black american music, I have never since ceased in my efforts to find new sounds, exploring (and still delving ever deeper into) such diverse areas as soundtracks, groovy pop, progressive rock, afro and latin, library music or european jazz. To further my knowledge, enrich my collection and restock my shelves, I will always consider exchanges." Always In search of new sounds to make us discover them, Victor Kiswell explores various musical styles, like the Indian and Italian soundtracks, the South American Latin jazz, Afro-beat, krautrock, libraries and European groove. Its research undertakes it thus worms of the areas where the funk appears non-existent… like Romania, Pakistan, Finland, Argentina, or East Germany. Not disavowing its first loves, it constantly establishes the link between the oldschool grooves and the hip-hop: he always have in mind the discovery of new samples and fresh breaks! He plays records for ten years in various clubs in Paris, in particular at the Cithéa in 2005 for “Brasilatin”, at Le Divan du Monde for its evenings “Trotter Earth” parties in 2005 and “Kings & Queens of Bollywood” in 2006 ( Indian funk, electro-disco & psychedelic music).
