[edit] Description
This classy calm restaurant is located right on the foot-bridge “Bagration” not far from the Expocentre. Here the delicate spirit of Germany between two world wars is mixed with the strong wind of modern luxury and progress; the antique gramophone is illuminated by the powerful halogen lamps.
The restaurant is round, so in addition to a perfect meal you are offered a wonderful panoramic view of Moscow. Modern interiors are light and roomy; cosy semicircular settees in soft blue colour will make you feel quite at home. Your attention will be also attracted by the vintage cabriolet modestly standing near the bar: “Karl” from the famous novel by Remarque is shining with polish as if the three comrades, Erich Lokamp, Otto Koster and Gottfried Lenz, have just stepped out.
“Three comrades” is an ideal place for negotiations of any kind, for a romantic date or for dining alone. German and European cuisine will let everyone find a suitable dish, and several sorts of non-filtered wheat beer will surely please you. If you are not a beer-lover, there is a good Wine Carte offering the best German and French wines. Very quick, silent and respectful waiters deserve the highest appraisal. On Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday night your dinner will be accompanied by the live music.
The restaurant also features a billiard club; five excellent billiard-tables for Russian billiards will be surely appreciated by the devoted billiard-lovers.
