Guide to Moscow Streets

A flower market gave name to Tsvetnoi ("flower") bulvar. Here Nikulin Circus at Tsvetnoi Bulvar is situated. When it opened in 1880 the hall could seat only several dozens of spectators, today more than 2000 people can enjoy the performance at a time. This circus discovered such outstanding artists as illusionist Emil Kio, Valentin Filatov and his trained bears, clown "with autumn in his heart" Leonid Engibarov and of course legendary clown and former director of this circus Yury Nikulin.
