Staraya ploschad is a square in the center of Moscow.

In the end of the 18th century Staraya ploschad was a flea market, in the 19th century a lot of apartment houses appeared here. Today the Administration of the President occupies houses No.2-8 (former Moscow Merchant Association, hotel and a trading house). There is also the Church of the Trinity in Nikitniki here.
