Baltschug Kempinski is by right considered to be one of the best five-star hotels of Moscow. Although, unlike some of its rivals, it can’t boast with very distinctive facade, the interior of this five-star hotel is more than splendid. The central location adds to its prestige, although the walk to the Red Square and St. Basil’s Cathedral via the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge is not that short and convenient. In addition to that, northern windows provide a picturesque view of Moskva-river with not only Kremlin, but also the biggest in Europe Rossija hotel on the other side.
The inner decoration of the hotel is really sumptuous. The opulent marbled lobby astonishes a visitor with its size and luxury. Designed by the finest European craftsmen, all 232 Baltschug's accommodations are airy and comfortable, with ample space and plenty of light. Combination of rich red fabric and handcrafted Bureau wood surprisingly creates a definitely Russian style of the rooms. The distinctive feature of Baltschug is a special attention to details: for example, here you’ll be offered to choose between the two kinds of blankets: downy or special non-allergic one.
