China? Communist? wow! Last I checked communism was all about the centralisation of ownership of the factors of production in the hands of the State and the equal distribution of the fruits of the factors of production to the populace. Well, that was Marx's thesis anyway. This is demonstrably not the case in China. I would describe China as a dictatorship politically and a capitalist society economically. In fact, it's the antithesis of communism.

Well, go to the Tiananmen square and put up a poster "Communism is full of shit", and let's see how many minutes you will stand there before taken in by the police. Wonder how you live not knowing even the basics. Guess it is not a prerequisite in the part of the West you are from.

Besides, it would be bad manners to do as you suggested. I will, however, continue to point out to you what a daft dead system communism is....what a much better sytem capitalism is...and just how much better the average person's life in "my part of the west" is than anywhere else...

Claiming that China is not a communist country is truly revolutionary.
It is not very clever to continue to point out to me the benefits of capitalism in general since I am not disputing them. You never had Friedman's version of capitalism in GB or in the US, though. I doubt you will see the implications, though, since for you China is not a communist state. Have you watched those two clips I posted?

Does it really hurt so much to see a successful communist country that you are ready to deny the obvious? That they have taken some advantages of capitalism still remaining a communist state?
