20:00 Dead by April (Sweden)
Dead by AprilDead by April are a Swedish metalcore band whose debut single, "Losing You," was a chart-topping smash hit in 2009. Founded in 2007 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the band is comprised of Jimmie Strimell (vocals), Pontus Hjelm (guitar, vocals, programming), Johan Olsson (guitar, vocals), Marcus Wesslén (bass), and Alexander Svenningson (drums). Dead by April made their recording debut in 2007 with a self-titled ten-track demo that circulated on the Internet. A greatly expanded 19-track version of the demo was released in 2008, once again distributed primarily on the Internet. Upon signing a major-label deal with Universal Music, Dead by April made their commercial recording debut in 2009 with the single "Losing You." It steadily climbed up the Swedish singles chart, lodging itself at number one for two weeks in May, around the same time the band made its full-length album debut with Dead by April. The album reached number two on the charts and spawned the follow-up single "What Can I Say." In 2010, Hjelm left the group as a performer but stayed on as a songwriter, and was replaced by vocalist Zandro Santiago. The first release to feature his work was the early 2011 compilation Stronger, which featured heavier mixes of several songs as well as a Killing Joke cover. That spring, the band announced their second official album, Incomparable, was complete; it was released on September 21, 2011 through Universal Music. Produced by Swedish studio-meister Jacob Hellner (Rammstein) in his own Big Island Studio in Stockholm, the CD was mixed by fellow Rammstein regular Stefan Glaumann and features session guitar work from Pontus Hjelm, who left Dead by April in 2010 to focus more on the writing and production side; his songs (including "More Than Yesterday", a demo version of which was included on the compilation mini-album "Stronger", released via Spinefarm) also feature, providing the all-important continuity with the self-titled debut, a Top 2 outing in Sweden. The band released their third album Let The World Know in February 2014, and now the band is touring with new material and the best songs. More info

20:00 Dolphin
DolphinMusician known as Dolphin, has long ago established himself as an independent, template-free, universe-scale personality; now it comes axiomatic. His concerts are dreadfully powerful emotional experiences for an audience. He could perform daily and would have full halls. Words, intonations, rhythmical patterns take the proper place - Dolphin never misses the mark. Guitarist Pavel Dodonov adds wild expression to the show and causes chaos in Dolphin's measured music. Dolphin doesn't stop at what has been accomplished: now his performances feature the recent developments in stage lighting, and it is said to look terrific. And video accompaniment has stepped even further - it is comprised of works by the young Yekaterinburg-based artist Pavel Laptev. And you know, seeing is believing. Dolphin's incredible live performances earned him love, respect, and acknowledgement of tens of thousands of people, which attend his concerts every year. He was never estimated as any musical type with the generally used term. Though, conditionally, he describes his style as poetry reading, with an edge to an electronic/rock beat. Dolphin is respected by professional writers, and the National Russian Writers Union acknowledges him as one of the most outstanding modern poets. As an artists he is sincere to the innermost of his heart, and it leaves no-one cold. In 2000 Dolphin was awarded with one of the most prestigious Russian awards "Triumph" for his contribution to the national music culture. At the concert in Crocus City Hall Dolphin will present his new album Andrey which has reached the top of Russian iTunes in premiere day. The power of this record is in a shocking psychological sincerity which Dolphin comes out to a wider audience with. And the new concert program of the singer is a completely different Dolphin. Don't miss! Read more

19:00 Kamijo (Japan)
KamijoKamijo is the vocalist of Versailles, and also the leader of the label Sherow Artist Society. In 1994 Kamijo formed Lariene, the group was initially signed to Applause Records. The band gained success on the indie scene, shortly after they changed their name to Lareine in 1996. In 1999 they obtained their first major contract with Sony Music Entertainment, but in August 2000 the band suddenly disbanded. Then, Kamijo decided to continue his career as a solo artist, still using the name Lareine, and published the album Scream. Kamijo ended his solo project in June 2001 to start New Sodmy with Mayu, former guitarist of Lareine. This band also didn't last very long, and disbanded shortly after the debut album's release. In august 2002 Kamijo resumed Lareine's activities, while maintaining his solo career. The former members, Mayu, Emiru and Machi took part in the project as support members, and in 2003 they re-joined the band (except for the drummer, Machi, who was replaced by Kazumi). In 2006, Kazumi decided to leave the band for his own personal reasons, and shortly after Mayu left the band. The last live of Lareine was held on the 31st of October with Hizaki as a support guitarist. Kamijo also once composed Chinmoku no Hane for the Kisaki Project and took part as vocalist on Kisaki's session band Kisaki & Kansai Kizoku as a special guest. In June 2007, he joined with Hizaki to form a new band, Versailles, and he continues to serve as the band's vocalist.

20:00 Periphery (USA)
PeripheryPeriphery represents the vanguard of addictive, chaotic, challenging and cathartically inviting heavy music for the modern era. The triple-guitar attack and rhythmic dexterity of Periphery has won them devoted adherents across underground subcultures, regardless of whether those fans were weaned on the passion-fueled sounds of the Vans Warped Tour or the progressive rock of Rush. A clear contender for 'Breakthrough Band" at Metal Hammer's 2013 Golden Gods Awards and frequent tourmates of Meshuggah, Dream Theater, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Animals As Leaders and other ultra-shred-happy friends and contemporaries from across the spectrum of loud rock, Periphery have earned their reputation onstage and off through a combination of undeniable chops and upbeat charisma. The Clear EP represents the sum total of Periphery's unrivaled achievement and the promise of what's to come courtesy of seven tracks most bands would be extremely grateful to see comprise a full LP. Periphery II: This Time Its Personal made Guitar World's 2012 "Best Of" list. Clear is undoubtedly destined to turn heads, as well. Born in an era where cookie-cutter musical constructs and fame-driven scene pretenders dominated the album and touring landscape, Periphery immediately rose to the fore with their dedication to unique artistry, musicianship and melody. The band steadfastly refuses to submit to the humorlessness that often plagues metal, particularly metal bands whose players possess such massive skill. They’ve put serious focus on their music, enabling them to share a laugh in presentation. "Icarus Lives!", "Make Total Destroy", "Scarlet" and like-minded Periphery jams have racked up millions of YouTube views and digital downloads, inspired massive amounts of air-guitar and air-drumming in clubs and theatres around the world and driven attention to the band's instant genre-classic pair of full-length albums. Periphery and Periphery II: This Time It's Personal galvanized a new generation of heavy music fans, many of whom have been as likely to scramble for guitar tabs to decode the inscrutable polyrhythms as they are to bruise themselves in the moshpit. Initially the brainchild of producer, solo artist and Guitar World cover star Misha Mansoor, the Washington D.C. based musical collective has since grown into a wild beast that belonging to their fiercely dedicated group of fans as much as to the band. Mansoor is joined by fellow axe wizards Jake Bowen and Mark Holcomb; viciously proficient bass slinger and production minded maestro Adam "Nolly" Getgood; monstrous SickDrummer.com staple Matt Halpern; and Spencer Sotelo, who singularly manages to make heads or tails of Periphery's mindboggling music, inviting newcomers into the band's world via counter-intuitively catchy vocals. The broader populace is joining the party, too. Periphery debuted at #2 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" chart, with the follow-up album breaking into Billboard's Top 50 just two years later. Periphery II: This Time It's Personal introduced Holcomb and Getgood to the world at large and boasted guest appearances from Dream Theater co-founder John Petrucci, English guitar virtuoso and YouTube star Guthrie Govan (The Aristocrats, ex-Asia) and labelmate Wes Hauch (The Faceless). Like "The Big 4" of Thrash, the Floridian death metal merchants, early Metalcore pioneers, mathcore inventors and deathcore standard bearers, Periphery's influence is so pervasive that they are often identified as the singularly most important band in the "djent" subgenre. The group has taken this distinction in humorous stride (see "Djent Reznor", "League of Extraordinary Djentlemen", etc.), but to saddle them with one particular genre description would be a great disservice to all Periphery has to offer. Boundary pushing experimentalism, nuanced mathematical cacophony and complex grooves that are alternately engaging and innovative are just the tip of the iceberg for the six-piece monstrosity, who are truly only now getting started. In the end of year 2014 Periphery announced they will release two new albums in January 2015: Juggernaut: Alpha and Juggernaut: Omega via Sumerian Records. "Given the nature and complexity of the Juggernaut story, we've actually done something different and exciting in regards to the release," says drummer Matt Halpern. "Juggernaut is a story that is told through our music, and we want our audience to fully digest the whole experience. Because Juggernaut is very detailed and dense in terms of character development, peaks and valleys, climaxes and resolutions we've divided the story and music in two, in the form of two separate albums." Halpern continues, "Juggernaut: Alpha, the first part of the story, focuses on the back story and character development, while part two/album two, Juggernaut: Omega, focuses on some pretty serious and gut-wrenching events, taking you for a thrill ride along the main character's complex journey. Although the albums are split in two physically, the story is only complete when the albums are digested consecutively, allowing the listener to recognize and hear the lyrical and musical overlapping themes, foreshadowing, and connected ideas." Guitarist Misha Mansoor says, "This is new ground and it's exciting. It's a way to shake things up. Everyone contributed to everything, even if it wasn't his instrument. It wasn't about confrontation. Everyone was focused on creating a really cool album." More info
