23:55 French Films (Finland)
French FilmsThe band members state that their music is influenced by dreaming, cold and dark winters and life itself, and characterize their style as something that varies between garage, surf rock, post punk and new wave pop. Though French Films are a young band, they already attract a lot of attention. Formed in 2010, they come from two Finnish cities called Espoo and Järvenpää. The band consists of Johannes Leppänen (guitar, vocals), Joni Kähkönen (guitar, vocals), Mikael Jurmu (bass, vocals), Santtu Vainio (synth) and Antti Inkiläinen (drums). The group got started by putting a couple of home demos on their myspace page. In December 2011 the memebers of the French Films finally released their first full length album titled "Imaginary Future". More info
