Frank Bridge Variations is a Ballet in one act by Hans Van Manen to music by Benjamin Britten. Chareography by Hans Van Manen. Set and Costume Designer: Keso Dekker. Nine contrasting miniatures – from sharp to flowing, and from passionate to melancholic – together form a unity that is as natural as it is amazing. Ever cool on the surface, but roiling with intense emotions underneath, each of van Manen’s works resemble fine gemstones polished to perfection by this distinguished choreographer’s unique musicality. Short Time Together - Ballet in one act by Paul Lightfoot and Sol León to music by Max Richter and Ludwig van Beethoven. Choreography, Set and Costume Design: Sol León and Paul Lightfoot. Music Director: Pavel Klinichev. Symphony of Psalms is a Ballet in one act to music by Igor Stravinsky. Chareography by Jiri Kylian. Set Designer: William Katz; Costume Designer: Joop Stokvis; Music Director: Pavel Klinichev. Bolshoi Theater |

The Theatre Ballet Moscow and Russian contemporary dance choreographers Anastasia Kadruleva and Artem Ignatiev are happy to present a premiere of the family ballet Thumbelina based on a fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen. The choreographers have chosen Tchaikovsky's The Seasons as an accompaniment. A story of a girl who got into the wonderful world of nature will be presented as an Alice-in-Wonderland kind of journey. With the help of animation and video art, the characters and the audience will travel through Mole’s hole, Frog’s swamp, blooming meadows, and will fly with light-winged swallows. As a bonus - dancing en pointe, barefoot, and in flippers. ZIL Cultural Center |
