The Theatre Ballet Moscow and Russian contemporary dance choreographers Anastasia Kadruleva and Artem Ignatiev are happy to present a premiere of the family ballet Thumbelina based on a fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen. The choreographers have chosen Tchaikovsky's The Seasons as an accompaniment. A story of a girl who got into the wonderful world of nature will be presented as an Alice-in-Wonderland kind of journey. With the help of animation and video art, the characters and the audience will travel through Mole’s hole, Frog’s swamp, blooming meadows, and will fly with light-winged swallows. As a bonus - dancing en pointe, barefoot, and in flippers.
