Gala concert for Valentine's Day. Moscow State Symphony Orchestra (MSSO), Conductor - Arif Dadashev together with Natalya Pavlova (soprano) and Ilya Selivanov (tenor) will perform D. Rossini, T. Giordani, S. Gambardella, F. P. Tosti, G. Puccini, V. di Chiara, L. Denza, E. di Capua. Natalya Pavlova is a Prize-winner at the April Spring international competition (Pyongyang, 2003, 2005) and II International Young Opera Singers’ Competition Opera without Borders (1st prize, Krasnodar, 2015). Born in Kazan. Graduated from the Kazan Ilias Akhadeyev School of Music and the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatoire with distinction. At both institutions she trained as a choral conductor. On graduating from the conservatoire she studied vocals under Rafael Sirikian. As a soloist she has appeared with the Vertogradensemble, Nikolai Khodzinsky’s Russian Conservatoire ensemble, the Intrada ensemble of early music and the Alexandrov Ensemble. Has appeared under such musicians as Vladimir Spivakov, Teodor Currentzis, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Fuat Mansurov and Ennio Morricone as well as a soloist with Yuri Bashmet’s New Russia orchestra and the State Russian Folk Orchestra N.P. Osipov. Has been a member of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers since 2013. Ilya Selivanov is a prize-winner at the VI All-Russian Nadezhda Obukhova Competition (1st prize, Lipetsk, 2012), Prize-winner and recipient of the special prize at the I and II International Young Opera Singers’ Competition Opera without Borders, Grant-recipient of the Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation. Born in Leningrad. In 2007 he graduated with honours from the Glinka Choral School. In 2012 he graduated from the choral and conducting faculty of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire, while in 2013 he graduated from the vocals faculty there (class of Professor Yuri Marusin). Has toured to Italy, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland, France and Germany. Became a soloist of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers in 2012. Moscow Conservatory Great Hall |
