19:00 Dreams of Love. Cristian Ricci (Italy)
Moscow City Symphony - Russian Philharmonic, Conductor Fabio Mastrangelo (Italy), Cristian Ricci (tenor, Italy) and Soloists of Moscow musical theatres will perform Arias and scenes from operas by G. Verdi, G.Puccini, R. Leoncavallo, Naples songs. Cristian Ricci studied singing in Verona with Maestro Danilo Cestari and after with the famous tenor Carlo Bergonzi at the Accademia Verdiana in Busseto. Being gifted with a solid and refined vocal technique, a smooth vocalism and a clear crystal timbre as a typical Italian tenor, Cristian Ricci knows how to face and cover a vast repertory. His phrasing is being expressed by a rich variety of niceties and his interpretation skills are excellent. These main characteristics of the tenor Cristian Ricci allowed him since the beginning of his career to perform in prestigious circles and in theatrical productions and concerts of great reputation, like Don Pasquale of G. Donizetti at Teatro Coccia of Novara under the direction of Enzo Dara, La Traviata of G. Verdi at Teatro G. Verdi of Busseto under the direction of Franco Zeffirelli and under the conductor Placido Domingo, Salvo D’Acquisto of A. Fortunato at Teatro Massimo in Palermo; then Don Pasquale in Sassari, Cherubin of J. Massenet in Teatro Lirico of Cagliari, Messa di Requiem of G. Verdi (Trieste). Cristian Ricci is the creator and artistic director of the international singing competition “G. Martinelli-A. Pertile” in Montagnana and there he leads also the “Laboratorio Lirico del Veneto”, a vocal academy of high improvement for young artists. He is artistic director of Marcella Pobbe International Price that takes place every year in Olympic Theatre in Vicenza.

20:00 The Dears (Canada)
The Dears, a loose collective of Montreal-area musicians formed in 1995, are led by the charismatic Murray Lightburn. Citing Serge Gainsbourg as a major influence, the band combines cabaret-style vocals with a moody, intense brand of orchestral pop/rock. Lightburn's vision for the band is to create music out of real emotions, often giving his performances the feel of a musical therapy session. Given the level of intensity that this vision can require, it's not surprising that the Dears have endured numerous member defections, including a guitarist, drummer, and two bass players. The Dears released their debut CD, End of a Hollywood Bedtime Story, on Grenadine Records in 2000. In early 2001, the band entered the studio to record the follow-up, tentatively titled Deuxième Partie, and in 2004, the critically acclaimed full-length No Cities Left was released. Lightburn and longtime Dears keyboardist Natalia Yanchak were married the following year, and in 2006 the band released the stripped-down Gang of Losers. Missiles arrived in 2008, followed by the group's fifth studio album, the Polaris Music Prize-nominated Degeneration Street, in 2011. In 2013 Lightburn issued a solo LP, and in 2015 the Dears returned with the first installment of a two-part album called Times Infinity 1, with plans to release the second volume in 2016.
