Frank Bridge Variations is a Ballet in one act by Hans Van Manen to music by Benjamin Britten. Chareography by Hans Van Manen. Set and Costume Designer: Keso Dekker. Nine contrasting miniatures – from sharp to flowing, and from passionate to melancholic – together form a unity that is as natural as it is amazing. Ever cool on the surface, but roiling with intense emotions underneath, each of van Manen’s works resemble fine gemstones polished to perfection by this distinguished choreographer’s unique musicality.
